The National Appliance Repairs office received a call from a customer in Bray Co. Wicklow who was reporting to have a Hotpoint washing machine that was not draining. It was arranged that a technician would call out the next afternoon. The technician arrived to inspect the machine and found the base to be full of water. The technician emptied the water manually out of the base of the machine. The technician then opened the inspection plate underneath and disconnected the drain pump. There was glass found to be blocking the propeller, so the technician removed this and refitted the drain pump. He then set the machine onto a programme and it was back to full working order within the hour.

The National Appliance Repairs office received a call from a customer in Rush Co Dublin reporting their Whirlpool washer dryer was leaking during a cycle from the door. At National Appliance Repairs we also repair and service all types of domestic appliances such as washing machines, tumble and condenser dryers, ovens, fridges and freezers. This could suggest that the rubber seal around the door would need to be replaced. The reason for this is that if the rubber is torn (not just come out of place) it would normally need to be replaced in order to ensure that it will act as it should as a seal to keep the water in the machine. Over the phone we asked the customer to check the seal, they confirmed it was in fact torn. The technician ordered the seal required. The next day the seal arrived and we were able to arrange a time that suited the customer to have the rubber seal fitted. This meant the job was done efficiently and with minimal cost to the customer.

The customer described their Samsung washing machine to be out of use, and they believe it is due to the seal on the door. We arranged with the customer to have a technician out to have a look at the machine the following day. The technician inspected the machine on arrival and then diagnosed the problem to be an ill fitting door seal that had a small tear. He informed the customer of this and explained that this was a more unusual part and he would have to order it from the suppliers. He then explained that once he had received the part he would call back out to Kilcock and fit the seal. Two days later the seal arrived and the technician went out and fitted the door seal. The machine was then back to full working order.

The National Appliance Repairs Office received a call from a customer in Bray Co. Wicklow who reported their Hoover dishwasher was tripping the apartment fuse when it was turned on. We arranged a suitable time with the customer for the technician to call out. The technician arrived and found the machine to be tripping the electricity due to a foreign object in the lower door seal. He then removed this, refit the door seal and unblocked the spray arms. This mean the job was completed within 30 minutes and the machine was back to full working order.

The National Appliance Repairs office received a call yesterday afternoon from a customer in Maynooth County Kildare who described their Belling double electric oven as not working. The customer was unsure as to why it was not working, so we suggested the best idea would be for a technician to call out the next morning to investigate the machine. The technician arrived to the house this morning and upon inspection of the machine he could see the oven was not heating up. He explained to the customer that this meant they would need to replace the oven element. As the technicians carry a stock of common spare parts in the van he was able to replace the oven element there and then. He had the job completed and the oven back to full working order within the hour.
