The customer reported that their washing machine was not spinning during the cycle but would spin by hand. The office arranged a suitable time with the customer for the technician to call out the next morning. After inspecting the machine the technician found the spin belt had snapped due to a heavy load. The customer decided to replace the bearings, these were ordered in from the suppliers. Once they had arrived the technician arranged to call back out to the house and fit the bearings, the machine was once again back to full working order.

The National Appliance Repairs office received a call from a customer in Naas County Kildare that was reporting that their Hotpoint dishwasher was not working. On arrival the technician inspected the machine and found there to be a food blockage in the drain pipe, in this case there was blocked by food residue. He disconnected the waste pipe from the sink waste pipe and removed the food remains from the drain pipe. He then reconnected the pipe and ensured it was still in place. He then tested the machine and found the blockage had bee successfully cleared and the machine was back to working order within the hour.

The office arranged with the customer for a time that suited for the technician to inspect the machine the following day. The National Appliance Repairs office received a phone call from a letting agent with a tenant in Crumlin Dublin 12 that had reported that their Miele washing machine was not washing. The letting agent passed on the details of the tenant and the office contacted the tenant and arranged a suitable time for the technician to call out. He found the impeller was blocked and opened up the machine to see it was blocked by a colour catcher. He then manually drained the machine through the lower drain hose by bringing it down lower then the drum and then was able to the remove the blockage from the filter. After this the machine was powered on and was back to full working order.
